AGENDA Media Traning in July 2017

On July 19, 22 and 28 AGENDA organized Media Training on Media Guidelines on Reporting Accessible Election in Surabaya, Semarang and Palembang respectively. Each training discussed topics on understanding disability, accessible election and its implementation in each province, media and disability as well as reporting accessible election. In Surabaya, 21 media representatives from print, online and broadcast media participated in the training (18 men and 3 women) and 9 disabled people organization (DPO) representatives participated in the training (7 men and 2 women). Choirul Anam, Commissioner of Provincial KPU of East Java gave presentation on accessible election in East Java regional head elections. In Semarang, 20 media representatives from print, online and broadcast media participated in the training (16 men and 4 women) and 10 DPO representatives participated in the training (8 men and 2 women). Diana Ariyanti, Commissioner of Provincial KPU of Central Java gave presentation on accessible election in Central Java regional head elections.  In Palembang, 21 media representatives from print, online and broadcast media participated in the training (15 men and 6 women) and 7 DPO representatives participated in the training (2 men and 5 women). H. Aspahani, Commissioner of Provincial South Sumatera gave presentation on accessible election in East Java regional head elections.
