On January 30, General Election Network for Disability Access (AGENDA) conducted a training on monitoring and evaluation in Yangon, Myanmar, with 17 representatives from nine DPOs – the Cambodian Disabled People’s Organization (CDPO), the Hanoi Independent Living Center (Hanoi ILC), the Myanmar Independent Living Initiative (MILI), the National Council for the Blind Malaysia (NCBM), Center for Advocacy Learning and Livelihood (CALL) Foundation, the Nationwide Organization of Visually Impaired Empowered Ladies (NOVEL), the Indonesian Disabled People Association (Perkumpulan Penyandang Disabilitas Indonesia, PPDI), the Regional Association of Women with Disabilities, and the Thailand Association of the Blind (TAB) – a member of Asian Network for Free Elections (ANFREL) and Chairman of ASEAN Disability Forum (ADF). Participants learned about conducting monitoring and evaluation for the ASEAN Enabling Masterplan 2025 on Mainstreaming the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The interactive training aimed to familiarize the participants with the importance of M&E for Masterplan, the role of DPOs in Masterplan M&E and ways to collect data for the Masterplan M&E.
