On February 3, MILI conducted a multi-stakeholder dialogue to raise awareness of the Masterplan and on how various stakeholders can support its implementation. In addition, MILI disseminated their policy platform document and legal analysis. The 77 participants, 45 of whom were women, included 35 government officials, 18 disabled people’s organization (DPO) representatives, three international non-governmental organization (NGO) representatives and 10 members of the media. After the dialogue, MILI interviewed seven participants about the Masterplan and ways they could contribute to its implementation. Interviewees included government officials from the Department of Rehabilitation, Department of Labor, Union Election Commission (UEC), and representative of the ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Social Welfare and Development (SOMSWD), as well as staff of NGOs including, United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Relief International, and HelpAge. These interviews will provide content for the third Masterplan talk show.
