NCBM organized a Policy Platform Workshop

The National Council of the Blind Malaysia (NCBM), organized a policy platform workshop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on April 25, 2019. Participants identified three priority areas: the participation of persons with disabilities in the decision-making process, accessibility in public spaces, and education. Several AGENDA partners will be heading policy platforms for their national contexts to promote the prioritization of disability issues in policy by elected representatives. As a next step, NCBM will invite government officials to elicit public support for the policy platform.
