Workshop Raising Awareness of the Need for Medical Care Services for the Deaf LGBTQIA+ during and after the COVID-19 Pandemic

On June 5, the Dong Nai Deaf LGBTQI+ group, a  Hanoi Independent Living Center (HILC)coalition member, organized their first workshop raising awareness of the need for medical care services for the Deaf LGBTQIA+ during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Though Deaf LGBTQIA+ initially invited IFES-AGENDA representatives to attend the workshop and provide an overview of collaboration between IFES-AGENDA and CSOs in Vietnam, because of the difficulty of finding an English interpreter, IFES-AGENDA representatives could only send greetings via email. We are still waiting for the event’s complete report, which is delayed because of language translation needs.
